Our safari tents

Our safari tents sleep up to six people. They are built on a raised platform with a real-wood floor. Two dedicated bedrooms, a large family room and a deck give you lots of room to relax and enjoy your farming holiday. One double and four full-sized single beds all come with comfy mattresses and duvets, pillows and fresh bed linen is all included. We can also provide travel cots for babies.

Bedroom One

Our first bedroom has a double bed with a luxurious 2000 pocket sprung mattress to ensure a restful night’s sleep. Tall-backed chairs double as bedside tables and offer somewhere to hang your clothes as you prepare for bed.

Bedroom Two

Our second bedroom has twin bunks. Each is a full-sized single bed and is suitable for children and adults.  This room has a three-drawer chest of drawers giving you ample storage.

Family room

The spacious family room has a large linen cupboard for even more storage. Here you will find your pool towels. There is a daybed which acts as a comfy three-seater sofa by day, and can become a full-sized single bed at night. Beneath is a trundle bed with foldable legs that gives another full-sized single bed. Two trunks give you somewhere to store the bed linen. 

A dining table and chairs provides a place to have family meals cooked over your campfire, on the barbeque, or in the camp house kitchen. It is also an ideal place to play one of the many board games you will find in the camp house playroom. We provide lamps in each room, and torches so you can move around the site at night.

Deck and fire pit

Each tent has a covered deck with cushioned chairs and a low table so you can relax with a cup of tea, or something stronger, and enjoy the rolling countryside or watch the sunset. Next to your tent is a fire pit and we supply a dutch oven and fire safe pans and utensils for cooking over an open fire. Wood is free. Plates, bowls and cutlery are provided in each tent, or use the crockery and cutlery in the camphouse.  A picnic table with benches is provided so you can dine alfresco. 

Each tent has a private shower room and toilet in the camp house. Here you will find additional towels. You also have use of the communal, kitchen, dining room, children’s playroom and laundry.
